Don't you love em? New beginnings, next chapters, mercies new every morning? For my husband and I, it is a new thing God is doing. We were led to leave our home, church and ministry of 16 1/2 years and move back to the NW to be closer to our parents, our girls in school and to find His will for us in this next chapter of our lives. And we have AMAZING peace even though we have NO IDEA what we're going to do.
Don't get me wrong - if I listen to the news or read the paper without a good dose of the Good News in my mind and heart, panic could easily set in. We just know we're right where we need to be and that our God is always, absolutely faithful. How often do I get the opportunity to put my money where my mouth is when it comes to trusting God?
I'm sure all of us have an area right now that is requiring an extra measure of faith. Here's a promise that I'm memorizing and meditating on:
I will lead the blind by ways they have not known; along unfamiliar paths I will guide them. I will turn the darkness into light before them and make the rough places smooth. These are the things I will do. I will not forsake them.
Isaiah 42:16
Thank You Lord for Your leading and guiding hand and for Your presence with us!
